also i tested and compared the new "sonic studio pro interface" driver and the old driver for a few hours so i concluded that the new driver is more punchier but very lack of features of the old one and the worst news is that the new driver with new interface can not be used with the old "rich featured" driver in harmony

Hi ASUS, please get ASIO and DRM to work on Windows 10.

I tested this new driver, like 20 mins and got back to the old one, because without Flex Bass the razer tiamats sounds like S.H.I.T., as always ASUS doing the best effort on their product drivers. Well Done!.

Is not ASUS fault that you have the wrong type of headphones for audio 🙂 Gaming headsets are notorious bad for music due to their lack of bass since they focus more on the mids. The Flex Bass was only trying to fix your headset.

It is indeed a disappointment. The driver itself seems to be the same. It's the control panel/interface that seems to be different.
They have added features compared to the older driver/panel (example of that being the two new microphone DSP/effects. However they still haven't added all of the original features like Flex Bass, Dolby Digital Live and most likely others that I'm not remembering at this moment.

I haven't tried the latest beta (released in june) but if the changelog is correct, then we have waited 4 months for almost nothing. I don't know if they are just lazy or don't care, or incompetent, or what, but it's laughable.

However, ASUS is not the only company to do this. I've never seen a sound card with a driver that is designed to really please the customer and the geek inside. Everything is as generic as it gets or uses the OEM driver with a few graphical tweaks. The only one that comes somewhat close is the driver for the older Audiotrak Prodigy cards, but at one point they abandoned it.

It really sucks balls that there have been are so many sound cards with great hardware to be held back because of a mediocre driver.
