Well I have to say so far I am impressed and only by one feature so far, I rebooted and the headphone gain was right where i left it on High Gain!

Update:
I took the card to a friend, he installed the card in his system.
It's funny but a non ROG branded Board from Gigabyte initiated the firmware update immediately.
Update worked just fine, driver installation the same.
So I took the card back home and put it in my sys. Now it's also firmware Version 1015.
But please fix this. I won't install the card in another PC everytime, just for a firmware update.

Thank you. Now have the Xonar plugged into different PCI slots and tried with the new driver. Until then a firmware update finally came.

can someone confirm that the sudden pops out of speakers are gone together with the channel mix at the same time the speakers pop (cracks)

Worked for me after I removed the card from the PCIe 2.0 x1 to the bottom PCIe 2.0 x4.

Soooooo, the bone asus threw us kind of soothed our raging bloodlust, but i'm craving for blood yet again. So what's the status on the juicy meaty non beta driver?

Bug reports to the Xonar email address lads. No chance of a fix unless the bug is reported via that inbox with all necessary replication details supplied.

As usual I'm effected by this issue of not being able to get the update firmware option. I just tried every slot I had available and wasted about an hour of my time.

I'll submit a report but seriously the sound card is more work than it's worth 😞

i just did the update on the card but had to move it to another system
on my own system (with an asus mobo !!!) no update was possible also
