I believe it cost Asus even less, because of mass-production.
They don`t buy components on Ebay or from online shops, they deal with manufacturers

after a long time not being here i thought hey lets check the ANUS rofl forum oops i ment Asus ....to see if they finaly released UCHU UCHU something

same old BS story i see haha
no drivers no support no.......uhm just nothing like always ......

@killer how much do you give me to take your card and give your live back m8 😉

regards...

I'd be happy if they gave our money back or if we got a trade offer for a Essence ST / STX... These drivers suck really hard.

I've got this card for a half year (I think) now and we only got buggy beta drivers which almost didn't fix anything...
For example, if you switch to 192k Sample rate and 24 bits, the sound is popping and everything, until you restart the damn program.

Asus doesn't care. Do you see them replying about anything. They got their money and that is the end. Sad to see a company go out like this. But that is why they have a "F" rating now. Best way to handle this. Post about the problems on other forums. Hopefully that will stop other people from supporting them, that doesn't know what is going on with Asus.

But I agree 100%. A full refund and a public apology to us. If you like to trade it for something else Asus made, then I guess by all means do it. As no one here bought a card and wanted to be a beta tester. Asus do your on work for a change.

It's ok, I've stopped many, many people from buying Asus. I tell them the horror stories behind my now sold Phoebus and the Maximus V Formula...two of their "top" products that are murdered by lack of support and an issue that destroys the experience. The motherboard isn't so bad, but the sound card was horrible. I can tell you I've stopped about 5 people now from buying Phoebus and instead they bought the ZXR. That's good money out of their pockets...and if a few more people do like me, affecting 5 people each...we can easily take 10 maybe even 20 thousand out of their hands for starters...

Oh glad I didn't purchase that motherboard with the soundcard, thought it would be worth it... anyway, now I'm stuck with this piece of crap so it doesn't change anything really xD
