Grave Flexible II.... bad bad bad.

Hello! sorry for my english.....

If you listen music with 5.1 or 7.1, and use the Grave Flexible... some frequencies are misdirected.

in FLAC is easier to observe this fact, and you can feel a little variation of volumen during the song.

for example to check this, try download a "Lamb of God - Sacrament (EAC.FLAC)", and listenig Redneck, Pathetic.... and you can see the volumen variation.

i have previusly a audigy 2 zs, and this never happened.

120hz and -4db.... but.... any settings produce the same effect.... when Grave Flexible its off, the sound its normal and no variations of volumen problem.

with xear surround max or not, its the same obiusly.

Try too dowunload the sacrament disc in flac, with torrent.... i can send the link...

In other disc or band, its the same thing, so, in the sacrament disc, its more easy to see.

Try setting Surround Max and see if that helps to redirect the frequencies 🙂

With Surround max or not, its the same problem.

Not sure what you're issue is, but setting of 120Hz means all the frequency component less than 120Hz in your music is treated as low-frequency part, and is redirected to subwoofer, and -4dB means those low-frequency component is damped in volume. You may adjust those settings and see if there's improvement.

Hello; try to disable volume leveler from dolby home theater (if it is enabled) and see if it will be okay.

Its disable obviusly. whatever the settings are in grave flexible II, the sounds its strong and pretty good to first look, but in some songs, the problem its best visualized.

Last notice:

I connect by digital to my receiver yamaha, and by dolby digital pro logic, have the music for all channels (5.1). NOW THE FLAC ITS SOUND WITH NO THE VARIATIONS OF VOLUME.

The problem its the grave flexible II. Whit not this options, all its fine.
