ASUS Xonar Phoebus doesn't work after first boot.

When i boot up my PC the sound card doesn't work. It is missing in the device manager and the speaker symbol in the bottom right has an "x" on it.
After I restart my PC the sound card is working fine every time. I installed it in the PCI-e 1x Slot above the Graphics Card because no other Slot was available. Is there a way to fix this problem or is my sound card faulty?

My System is:
Windows 8 x64
CPU: Intel i5-3570k
MB: Asrock Z77 Extreme 6
RAM: 16GB 1600 MHz DDR3
GPU: 2x Sapphire HD7970 in Crossfire
PSU: Bequit Straight Power E9 700 Watt

Double check to ensure it is installed properly and the power cable is seated correctly in your PSU and the card its self

I already checked it a couple times and tested different cables. I don't think it's a problem with the power because it works fine after restarting the pc.

Edit: I also removed one of my graphic cards but even without Crossfire sound doesn't work after first boot.

Some people with Asus Xonar D1 Sound Card have the same problem:

Try another version of driver.

You may try to rescan Phoebus in device manager after first boot.
Also it may be related with windows updates,so you can return to restore point.

Here i have the same problem....
My config is:
i5 3570k
Asus p8z77-v deluxe
Corsair Vegeance 1600mhz
Windows 8- 64 bits
and Asus phoebus -.-

I start the pc and phoebus wont reconized than i reboot and phoebus works perfect.....
Asus can fix this problem, can be a conflict with win 8.

I tested the sound card with my old PC and it works fine. So the card seems to be OK.

Old System:
Windows 8 x64
ASUS Crosshair Formula IV
AMD Phenom II x4 965BE
AMD HD7850

The card is OK, but software is not.
