Asus Strix Soar, Sonic studio sound enhancement

Kensaii
Level 7
Sonic Studio (Strix Soar) sometimes randomly sound enhancement (Equalizer, Bass boost, Reverb etc.) isn't working in apps and games, mainly after switching from speakers to headphones or back. When run Discord and after run game (Heroes of the storm, WOW, ForHonor etc.) then 100% sound in Discord became immediately without enhancements, game is 50% possibility to run with enhancements or without.
I tried to install Sonic Studio 1.1.13 and 1.1.18, I tried to install Asmedia driver 1.16.47, 1.16.50 and windows auto install.

Are you switching between headphone and speaker outputs while apps or games are still open? Make sure to close them before switching outputs.

lol awesome, i thought it's bug but it's feature? Then when I'm playing online games and connected to voice chat and waiting my friends online, after my friends log in to voice chat then I have to close voice chat and game, switch to headphones then run again game and voice chat? lol, it's so funny. I used realtek and Creative sounds and never experienced any troubles with switching between speakers/headphones during playing games or using voice chat. But this card omg, really give me so many headache. Worst 100$ spends that i ever did. This card is oriented for gamers but isn't designed for gamers. I'm totally dissapointed. It's bad that I can't refund it because one month is gone.

One thing with discord, even i'm not swtiching between headphones/speakers in discord sound enhancements stop working when I just run game, only in discord, not in game. Then I have to switch output in discord from default to speakers or headphones (depends what output im using) then swtich back to default and enhancements in discord working again. Sonic studio is so buggy.

I have the exact same issues... and if it's a feature. It does not work properly ! Same as you... Windows Audio Devices was better managing switching in and out...

My sound enhancer is not working at all on my Strix Soar Sound Card since installing windows 10 1809. It was working sporadically since 1709 and 1803. But I consulted Microsoft and they said to do a clean install of 1809. So now of course I cannot go back to 1709 or earlier. I have reported this case over the phone and email. And you people still haven't gotten back to me with a solution. So I'm trying here since other people are having similar problems if you'll respond to me here. My case # is N190105805 according to Sean M. the latest guy to email me back saying he'll forward info to engineers. Jhed did this over a week ago and then supposedly your servers went down and you lost my information????

This is rediculous. I reported this issue to you like a month ago. You wanted me to send the card in for RMA. I refused because I know it's not a hardware issue. It's some kind of software conflict. Right now it is working with sonic studio and my headdphones and sonic radar works when I click test. The sound goes around 360 degrees like it's supposed to. At least most of the time. Sometimes I have to restart and it will work again. But pressing cntrl shift G turns on enhancer, it says enhancer on/off, but sound doesn't change. It used to boost the sound for whatever eq I had set. Usually was all of them and sonic studio set on fps. And when it was working it was awesome. But it steadily stopped working, and now it's not working at all (enhancer). So I use it and just turn up volume like 10%, and it's similar. But not the same. I have tried uninstalling software and reinstalling 1.13 and 1.18 and that used to work sometimes, but now not a chance. I've moved to different pci exp slots, I have 3 and no change. I have a MSI X370 SLI PLUS mobo. I have sent you guys screen shots you asked for and my system .nfo file. So you should be able to see what hardware and software I have. And I have HyperX CloudX headphones with no inline 7.1 card. The cloud II's have the sound card.

Can someone please get back to me with a solution? I've spend about $200 on this card and headset and the card has a 4 year warranty your guys told me. That's great if you could keep the software up to date. I see everywhere on the internet when I'm looking for solutions that Asus sucks with the drivers and keeping them up to date and working. So please someone fix this problem. I cannot be the only one. I am only using headphones and not switching to other outputs or inputs. So not a case like guy earlier in this thread.

Another thing I've noticed is that if I turn on spatial sound dolby atmos for headphones in sound control panel, then I get surround sound in sonic studio. If I leave it off and on default settings, and turn on surround in sonic studio, LF LC LR sound the same and so RF RC RR. Same spot directionally in headphone. If I turn on the dolby atmos or windows sonic for headphones, when I click on each of those speakers they sound like LF or LC or LR and RF RC RR. But then sonic radar 360 sound doesn't work. I don't care about the visual part of sonic radar. I just want good 3d directional sound in my games. Games I play are Destiny 2 and Rainbow 6 Siege. And I need the directional sound. And my headphones need the Higher impedence from your sound card. The difference between my mobo onboard audio, which is good, and your high impedance output is night and day for the better. So I need a good card like yours. But I need it to work!!!!!! And I need someone to get back to me with a solution for crying outloud. It's been a month!

If you can't fix this and keep the software up to date and working, then you better find a way to get me my money back so I can buy a better card that WILL work.
Again tho I do not want to do this. I've waited patiently for a month now. It's time to do something. If you don't work with me, I will find out who to report you to, to get you to cooperate. BBB, federal trade commission, FTC, State AG, not to mention twitter, fb and all other social media. Again I don't want to do this!!!!! I just want you to fix my problem with your product. Fix the software for me and everyone out there struggling silently with this and windows 1709 and up.

Attaching my system .nfo file for you to see again in case you lost it again.
And if anyone else out there is having this issue, speak up. Or if you've found a solution, share it. Please.
Thank you for listening, and hopefully your help.
