1st time here on the forum but a very very long asus user and reader (since a7a266 mobo :D)

recently i sold my d2x and went to phoebus because of dropouts with spdif on the d2x

Now i got the phoebus and hate to say it but now i have even more problems

spdif is stuttering changing sample rate make's it even worse (also on analog and plays even slower on some rates ???)

So i went analog to my receiver but even then i got some other problems
I noticed when i disable flexbass i also have no bass on my Jamo speakers (5.1 position) and the sub is totaly off
chaning things in the menu make's the rear speakers loose ther signal untill i restart the software

the dolby home theater is making the sound SO SO SO bad its not even worth using it in any setup/setting i have it

when i enable dolby home theater it looks/sounds like all speakers are working but when you listen to your rear speakers only the sound is so bad
you only here some tone's and hissing etc. low volume you name it

now the only EQ is in dolby home theater but i want to be able to set some bass and treble (without dolby home theater) where is that function ?? (i think you all want that function dont ya ?)

i did a fresh install of win7 x64
hardware i use
Rampage 3 extreme
i7-930
12gb mem
GTX580 sli
asus phoebus

(all watercooled if it matters :D)

regards

Fill out a bug report form detailing where and when the issues happen and using which games or audio playback tools. List all driver versions used, too (including Phoebus driver version). Bug report form link is in a sticky thread in this forum (you can't miss it)....

@ Raja@ASUS are you familair with the problems ? do you also use an phoebus ?

does the Asus driver support teams also read this site ?

is it maybe possible for a sticky to combine all the real problems and combine them in 1 topic maybe

according to your name i assume you are an employee from Asus ?

Fill out a bug report form please. There is a link tell you where to send the form. If you had read that thread as I asked you would have found the email address for the Xonar team, and that would have answered some of your questions. A single thread with bugs would be too much to sift through asking people for repeat info, which is why we keep it to single threads. That and the fact that the Xonar team set up an email address for bug reports...

The initial driver had some issues with Punk Buster. Not sure about S/PDIF as I don't use it myself. And nobody can offer advice because you have not told people which driver version you are running.

Yes I am employed by ASUS, although I only cover North America and I work in Technical Marketing.

bug report is already filled in and send out (i think ,no confirmation)

since there are only 2 drivers its not difficult wich one to choose from 1st was totaly worthles so using the latest

still writing a user review for guru3d so i realy hope the xonar team release a driver with some some bugfixes soon

THX.....

Might be worth contacting your local support in Netherlands also. 🙂
