Hello I have the router GT-BE98 Pro it's running very well but I have one issue with the iPad model A2837 that supposed supports Wifi 6 according Apple. The problem is sometimes I don't see the Wifi 6 network in the listi of wifi networks to connect. I see the 2.4 and the 5 and sometimes appears the 6. When I connect to the 6 is extremely powerful and with high speed really so good but as I said is a miracle to wait in the list of wifi networks to see it.
I have separated networks of course when it connects to Wifi 6 Apple says 'Limited Compatibility' but I don't care that it runs well for my purpose. But the problem is why I can't see that network always in the list of networks? I need to make it to be enabled always as other networks. I have the configuration of the photos in the router. I also tested changing to 37 in control channel instead of Auto and the same not always is seen Auto or 37 or other value.
What could be the problem or what is needed to configure in the router to make Wifi 6 always available?
Thank you

Not sure why it is doing that except possibly it is far from the router or there is obstacles for line of sight? Attaching 5 GHz and 6 GHz-1 Professional (tab). I turned PSC off due to no 6E, no 6E Apple devices any longer...

A couple of things. Channel bandwidth for 5 GHz and 6 GHz-1 please try Auto.
Make sure WiFi7 Mode is toggled OFF for both 5 GHz and 6 GHz-1.
Set both 5 GHz and 6 GHz-1 to the same SSID and Password to avoid a limited speed warning on the iPad.
Let me know, as I thought they resolved the OFDMA/MU-MIMO issue on WiFi 7 routers. (The 802.11ax version on 6E routers in general needed this setting Disabled).

Are you from SNBForum, with Merlin firmware?
- UPDATED: Merged GPL 3006.102_38757 for WIfi 7 devices.
Currently Merged GPL of Merlin is lower than 3.0.0.6.102_38984 so I suggest using ASUS firmware. Sometimes he's higher, sometimes lower. Either way as far as WiFi is concerned, it is "proprietary". (I asked my friend who works at ASUS if I could help with coding and was told that their code is received from Broadcom. All I wanted was to turn on PSC for 6 GHz-1 and off for 6 GHz-2. Unfortunately both have to be the same for some reason).

Hello jzchen. Thank you for your replies. Look regarding your comments:
*8Channel bandwidth for 5 GHz and 6 GHz-1 please try Auto. Check photo I already placed all in Auto.
*Make sure WiFi7 Mode is toggled OFF for both 5 GHz and 6 GHz-1. Yes of course I don't have enabled WiFi 7 there.
*Set both 5 GHz and 6 GHz-1 to the same SSID and Password to avoid a limited speed warning on the iPad. In this case I have separated, I don't care really the warning message when works if very amazing well even with the warning. Or is better to put together maybe this will solve that the WiFi 6 network is not appearing in the list of networks most of times, and will be taken with the Wifi5? I prefer have by separate for due my devices but if put same SSID than 5ghz it really will help to solve the problem?
*I made tests in disabling and enabling OFDMA/MU-MIMO and no changes, the same problem persist, no Wifi 6 network available int he list of networks.
I don't think I use Merlin as I only opened the Box of the router and click in update from the modem itself, this is the firmware I have:
GT-BE98 Pro Current Version : 3.0.0.6.102_38984-g8a9326f_1432-g7f449_BB0B
What I noted about the Wifi6 is when I make a change and/or the router reboots the Wifi 6 network appears in the list to connect for a couple of seconds after that it goes away. And really is rare because if I connect to it is very impressive the speed.
Check my configurations from General tab to Professional tab and I think all is ok or is something is wrong?

I was looking at the specs on your model. It does show as Wi-Fi 6e but some cellular modes only do Wi-Fi 6. I am wondering if the Wi-Fi capability is related to the cellular status on your model.
I have a two-month-old iPad Air and it has no problems connecting to the router's 6 GHz radio with default settings.
All models
Wi‑Fi 6E (802.11ax) with 2x2 MIMO6
Simultaneous dual band
Bluetooth 5.3
Wi-Fi + Cellular models
5G (sub‑6 GHz) with 4x4 MIMO
Gigabit LTE with 4x4 MIMO

Is strange the reality is when is detected in the list by a miracle and I connect is very good that means is supported I guess as if not would not connect?

Hmm. I saw this Specifications on the Apple.com page here:
https://support.apple.com/en-us/119892
Wi‑Fi 6E (802.11ax) with 2x2 MIMO6
Simultaneous dual band
Can you connect to two different SSIDs at the same time? I mean is there a place to put two sets and connect simultaneously? If not probably should set Same SSID and Password for both 5 GHz and 6 GHz-1. The screenshot of the Network page already shows they are not together/not Smart Connected, which is correct, per my memory of Apple suggested settings. This may have changed over the years...

I checked and figured the problem. Well I have to send the LAN to other location via AP Mode one set of Orbi Netgear and moving from place worked, some interferences or similar things.
