WI-Fi connected but no internet connection

Hello everyone.

Just looking for solution, could not find anywhere online. Sorry if this is repeated question. I have ROG RAPTURE GT-BE98 router. My question is - why some random devoices gets "No Internet Connection" saying when connected wi-fi. All other devoices, even connected via wi-fi (or lan) have internet. Just can not figure it out, why, without no reason (yes they have been connected for while and had internet, just randomly, and not same device, all of wi-fi devoices gets this message) sometimes they just have no internet connection but connected to wi-fi. And yes, they work fine for while, but randomly, just without any reason the devoices gets message "Connected, but can not provide internet" Or "No internet connection"

3.0.0.6.102_36855 is the latest firmware.  It was recently published, 2024/11/05.  Did this start after updating to this?

Yes, it was before any update same, after updating a month ago (4 days after i got it) and it is up to date now Current Version : 3.0.0.6.102_36855. This is my second Wi-Fi 6 router (even i know asus claims its wifi 7 this one, but does not have wifi 7 band, runs trough wifi 6 and just names it wifi 7 😄 ). And i figure it out - do not buy ever Wi-Fi 6 or higher routers for another 10 to 20 years! Technology isnt working and its just waist of time and money! In this casse - masive amount of money!

GT-BE98 does have the 6GHz band, although many countries' regulations allow use of the lower half of the band.  Do you have any WiFi 7 devices to try?  (I only have one so I don't turn on MLO, just for that one).

Hello, Dear Sir, I have exactly the same problem as you, my device is 98pro and the latest firmware is on the site and I have the same problems as you. It works for 3-4 days and then I get a message that there is no Internet on WiFi devices, although there is Internet in 98pro and all the indicators on 98pro are white. In the modem dashboard, 2 Internet connections show the status connected, but by LAN and by WiFi it says that there is no Internet. I have 98pro v2

god, this router is realy bad! I tried to see, if i change routers default ip from 192.168.50.1 to standard 192.168.1.1, did it, but things gone even worst, internet speed droped 80% and only 2% devices can connect. All i tried to conect saying - connected but can not provide internet! Is it leagal for them to sel routers like that? They does not work and makes people go crazy 😄 can i return it and get refunds? I giving up on this ro**h router!

I guess it depends on the retailer's policy that you purchased from.  Sorry to hear you are having so much trouble...
