When I login to my GT-AX11000, I go to a static page with no links

When I first started using this router, I could get into the GUI where I could configure it. I always used a browser on my MacBook Pro. But for a year or more, when I try to login to the router, after my login and password are accepted, I go to a static Gaming page. Power cycling the router does not change this. I can login via the app, and I can see what I want to change, but I don't see a way to change it there. I also don't see a way to update the firmware on the app. I've seen other people report this issue here, but those reports were closed with no resolution.

Ah, I just found a place to do a firmware update so I'll check this issue after that completes.

Hopefully that resolves this but if not can you try a different web browser?

I tried three: Chrome, Firefox, and Safari. Safari is very clean because I recently deleted cache and cookies. They are all the same. The firmware update made no difference. I have a support ticket open on this. In fact, if you search this discussion, you will find that many people have reported this problem. Those threads were closed with no resolution that I could see. So, I'm pretty sure that this is a problem with the router and not with anything else on my side. If I have to, I'll reset the router to its original settings, but that is a pain because I'd have to re-input all my existing settings.

Hard resetting can be a pain.

A couple of thoughts, you could back up the configuration, (which I confess I have never tried), and try to restore it once hard reset.  But definitely after a hard reset the manual reconfiguration is the preferred/advised way to go...

In order to back up the configuration, I'd have to be able to get into the router GUI, unless there's a way to do it from the phone app. I'll check that.

There is a way to do it from the app, and I assume that Restore your router will read them in again. I'll try that later.
