Unable to get EETV Multicast working With New Asus Router RT-BE88U

Joined EE TV and BT Broadband back in January and due to the poor WIFI performance I purchased a new router. I did some research into it and I was under the impression that I could make the IPTV work by changing the settings on the router under the IPTV page.

I have searched the forums but no matter what settings I try it just does not want to work. All of the apps work perfectly, Now TV etc but not the EE TV. The guide appears fine, but when I select a channel I just receive an error IPC6023

Has anyone got this working at all? Would rather use the ASUS router as the WIFI coverage is superb in comparison.

These are the settings I have currently, I have enable DHCP Routes RFC3442 etc, Fast leave. I have tried connecting the box use Lan and WIFI but keep getting the same IPC6023 Error. Any help appreciated.

Make sure you don’t need to manually enter a Vlan ID for it to work

Just checking that with users on the BT EE Forums, I have tried entering VLANID 101 as per an old article but in doing this the internet no longer connects.

*Update* No, VLAND ID is not required on FTTP only on FTTC apparently.

So in the router settings have you set it to PPPOE

Yes it is set to PPPOE, it connects to the internet fine, but the TV box will not work, I don’t receive the channels. I get error IPC6023 which signifies multicast issues apparently.
