Transfer settings from AC5300 to AX11000

Hey guys
I have has the Asus AC5300 router for a while now. Just received the AX11000 and I had backed up the settings from AC5300 and was wondering if I could upload the settings to AX11000?
So far the only problem I had setting up the AX11000 was the constant wifi signal drops for guest 2.4ghz.
Kids were MAD!!!.
I also tried setting up AC5300 as a Mesh Node (Failed several times) HELP
Any advice with the setup for AX11000 would be greatly appreciated.

You cannot import AC5300 setting into AX-11000. You need to start to setup your AX11000 from scratch. Once you set your AX11000 router, hard reset your AC5300 to factory default setting. Now you can either hard wired your AC5300 or wireless connect as a mesh. Go to the AI mesh tab on your AX11000 admin page start to add the AC5300 to form a mesh connection. Hope this will help you. Well after pressing reset button on both routers and factory default the settings.
Hard wired ac5300 to ax11000.
The mesh was setup
And things are working smooth.*
