Hello people,
Im wondering if I have to send back my AX6000 because its WiFi suddenly stops working on a regular basis, WiFi stays on but there is no internet connection.
If I turn my PC on that is wired to the router, suddenly the WiFi connection starts working again.
Then I turn the PC off and after a random amount of time the WiFi breaks down again.
I have tried all kinds of hard reset, either on my internet providers router and on the ASUS but I go back to the same issue.
I live in Switzerland, my internet provider is Salt, and if I turn the WiFi on with their own router, everything works fine on its side. The problem really seems to come from the AX6000, I've tried to tinker different settings but I don't have sufficient knowledge to understand what is the problem.
Can anyone help ?

GT-AX6000 or TUF-AX6000?
For GT-AX6000:
There was a firmware version released August 28: 3.0.0.6.102_34793. Is this the version installed? Do you think the problem started around that time?

My version is TUF-AX6000 : 3.0.0.4.388_33411-g1ae9eb9
The interface states that it is the latest version available.
I don't know when the last update has been made, but I wouldn't be surprised that the issue appeared after an update. However I don't know if that is the case here.

I went to Salt's webpage and could not find any information on how to connect a third party router such as the ASUS. Did they provide you instructions on how to use a third party router, or did you follow some advice on the Internet? Seems like they want you to use their router exclusively?

Thanks for checking this for me ! They don't have a bridge mode on their router, so yes I guess they don't really expect customers to plug another router on their ports.
However i have been doing this with success for the last few months, and it's only recently that it appears to be a problem.
Also I have explained precisely to various people from their customer support that I am using my own router because I am not satisfied with the range and speed of their routers WiFi, and no one has told me that I am not supposed to do it (but I don't either consider that they agree with this, they just didn't comment).
