RT-AX88U issue with newest firmware 3.0.0.4.388.22237 when used as AI Node

Can someone share some light? I have 2 RT-AX88U and 1 RT-AX-86U.
One of the RT-AX88U is setup with AI Mesh Router with newest firmware without any issue.
RT-AX86U is setup as AI Node with newest firmware (no issue at all)

The other RT-AX88U is setup as AI Node. With the newest firmware (3.0.0.4.388.22237). Every few hours.. i would get Node offline. and have to reboot the AI node to get it connected.
TO fix this issue, i down grade the RT-AX88U AI Node firmware back to 3.0.0.4.388.20558. While the Primary RT-AX88U is still at the newest firmware (3.0.0.4.388.22237).

So the newest firmware ((3.0.0.4.388.22237 on RT-AX88U) is definitely causing me the issue when use as AI Node.

I had this or a similar issue with an two RT-AX82U routers with their latest firmware. The head node worked fine but the satellite would go offline (with all lights off including power a little after reboot). It had a "GREAT" signal when it worked. I returned the one thinking it to be the node (it may have been) and replaced it with a n AX86S. I updated the 86S to next to last BIOS when I got it and it has been doing fine.

I have the same problem with asus router gt-ax11000 (2xnude).

I got an answer from asus support regarding Firmware 3.0.0.4.388_22237

The FV 388 generation unfortunately contains a Mesh network bug and Asus is aware of this. We are currently working on firmware fixes for our devices to eliminate the problem you described. As a GT-AX11k user myself, I am looking forward to the fixes.
Unfortunately, due to the Chinese New Year, work on the fixes may be extended

i wish someone could post a sticky note on on confirmed bug related to each firmware. So user like me will know what to expect and not install firmware and await for fix. I had to spend time to track it down that new firmware was culpit of my issue on Node.

I have now downgrade the AX88U. It now stay connected. However, after downgrade my AX-88U, I notice my RT-AX86U Child Node. Although it stay connected... I would just have 1 Client connect to it. I have done MESH reboot to have all AIMesh reboot.. but it just wasn't doing the connection correctly. There are 4 devices close to it.. but its not not picking it up by 86U. Learning from my AX88U, i downgrade the firmware on 86U and its now picking up 4 client. It seems last firmware release pleque with AI Mesh Client issue.

That firmware on my GTX-11000 completely takes down my mesh network. Downgrading the firmware solved the problem. I am actually glad to hear the they know what the problem is.

Wish they would treat it with the urgency that it deserves

i have a 3 router mesh RT-AXE11000, and 2 RT-AX88U. this firmware completely rendered my mesh unusable. the satellites turned down the wi-fi randomly. i downgraded the satellites firmware to various versions and the 2.4 GHz become stable but the 5 Ghz was turned off permanently until node reboot. the only solution was to reconfigure the network with accespoints and dromp the mesh variant. looking forward for a new firmware but it took a month already and nothing happened .

3.0.0.4.388_2xxxx provides new functionality ie ethernet port connection reporting/analysis. *I do not think it is successful porting the settings from old firmware to new firmware:

After updating firmware from 3.0.0.4.386_yyyyy to 3.0.0.4.388_xxxxx please hard reset all router and nodes, then rebuild the network. *Everything is stable for me AXE16000, AXE11000, RT-AX86U (the three running 388), RT-AC68U, and RP-AX56 (two running 386).*
