I just got a new Asus RT-AX86U router and set it up. Encountered some issue with the LAN 1 gaming port -- as long as there is cable plugged into the LAN 1, every wired connection speed is halved, including the device connected to LAN 1. I plugged my PC into LAN 1, the speed was 150mb. Switched to LAN 2, then was back up to 300mb.
I checked the QoS was disabled the whole time. Honestly I don't know what's the point of getting a gaming port instead of a normal port. Even the device plugging into it is not getting any benefit. Looking for ways to force it to function as a normal port.
