Maybe it depends on the way you have setup the block?
I use the time scheduling in the family part of the app.
When I block my Son's internet it happens straight away ( he comes running to me asking why I stopped his internet ) and same when I reward him.
He's not streaming though,output wise,so maybe that's a difference?
Also I use the beta firmware.
