So, I bought the Rapture GT-BE 98 pro to replace my Nighthawk RS300. Since then, I have noticed a considerable drop off in speed. I use win 11 I have my DNS set in windows and the Asus app for Cloudflare ipv4 at 1.1.1.1 and 1.0.0.1 those did not change and using the same cat 6a cables. So, I am not sure what I did but my speed has decreased, and my ping has gone up. The only thing I have changed on my pc was I bought a matching Samsung Odyssey G81SF to match the other one I had to replace an older monitor. The screenshot from 9/9 was with my nighthawk RS300 router installed. The 9/24 was shortly after I got the ROG router and noticed some differences.

QoS, AiProtection, are they off? Did you factory reset after latest firmware update?

I turned off QoS and AI Protection in the app and rebooted the router and pc. I do not remember if I had to even do a firmware update when I got it, I am pretty sure the firmware was already 3.0.0.6.102_38984 the current one but I could be wrong. When I turned off the two the speed improved but ping is still higher than my Nighthawk.

Part of the variation may be network traffic related. Your ping improved at 1:30 am, but increased at 10:45 pm vs 11:24 pm (Netgear baseline).

I might contact Cox too because they were out here doing work I dunno. But my speed slowed down when I got this router. MY Ping went up after the text on 9/24 with the ROG router, when I turned off the QoS and AI the speeds when up so, that is an improvement. Thanks.

Contrary to popular belief fiber is also shared per my understanding. But it is a lot less sensitive to traffic increases. I unfortunately do not have service available to me above 1 Gbps, so I have no experience with any issues of the router with higher speeds...
