I bought an ROG Rapture GT-AXE11000 for my new gaming PC an Alienware R16 and both were purchased mere days apart. I reused the same SSID and password as my old router for convenience and it almost worked like a charm. Every device in my house successfully connected to the new ROG Rapture GT-AXE11000 router excedpt for the one device that actually supported 6E, my brand new Alienware R16. My printer, my ipad, my bed, my speaker, my ipad and phone all picked up the SSID on the new router and connected. WHen I am able to get a connection on my PC I get 0 download speed on a speed test and can't open most pages. I'm stuck using my brand new gaming PC on an 9 year old router.
Oh, I contacted Asus support and their 1st question was are you SURE "your pc is wifi capable."

First I'm hoping you've updated the firmware on the router and also taken care of updates on the Alienware R16?
This is more geared towards Apple 6E devices, but if you have not tried:
Do not Smart Connect 6 GHz with 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz. (I Smart Connect 2.4 and 5 GHz only).
Try enabling Preferred Scanning Channels (PSC) on the 6 GHz band.
Please update us with how these settings work out. Also maybe note the current Firmware on your AXE11000?

Yes
I must agree with you that asus support is a complete rubish. I have to change the router because none of the support that asus gave to me on ROG AXE 11000 was valid. And the feature to claim on the router firmware diretly is a lie!
