ROG Rapture GT-AXE11000 crashing when checking for updates

Every time I try to search for new Firmware Upgrades, the router crashes for 2-3 minutes.

Mine says it fails to connect to the update servers after a delay.  How long is the uptime?  Mine is 233 days.  Maybe a reboot will help.
