I have I send in feedback
router has been running for 1 days 22 hours 54 minute(s) 43 seconds with 3.0.0.4.384_45149
And now I have lost all settings under DHCP
the list is blank and has had to add them again.
are very tired of this router :mad::mad::mad:

Is there any new Beta firmware that we could test on?

At least we can help with reporting the bug issues.

tried once again to salvage this router.
did a `initialization` of the router, with no logs.
I disabled all I could. ipv6, web logs, firewall, link aggregation, vpn, smart connect, and etc.

tried to set a wifi value with less than 8 characters, and a password with only 8 characters.

wifi clients still can't connect.

there is a huge issue with wifi on this router.

setup vpn client is still broken even after clean upgrade. VPN provider: IPVanish.

Why doesn't asus offer a swap for a Asus RT-AC5300 and call this one a fail and be done already

agreed. worse off, it looks like its just software.
they would just need to focus a person on this.
it seems they have no resources.

Dear Asus,

Its been more than an year, buggy firmware, fix here break there and nothing of a stable firmware with most features working.
When are you going to give us the option to have our money back. The router clearly is not able to perform as promised and Asus already proved to not been capable to deal with network devices.

Waiting... or saving to buy some router that works.
Asus never again.

After update get this into log

Hi,

after recovery flash-installing the current firmware on the router, and configuring everything from scratch, for some reason, the router now is working:

-GUI is normal
- wifi works, and client can connect (more on this later)
- VPN fusion works
- QoS works
- traffic analyser works
- ipv6 works
- ethernet works.
- I Have NOT tested AiMesh yet.

The remaining issue is:
for some reason, NO client will connect to 5GHZ-2. No matter what I do.
I`ve tried to: enable/disable radio on 5ghz-2 under professional. tried to enable and disable smartconnect. tried to reboot many times.
on the status page I can see that 5ghz-2 has NOT GOTTEN a mac address.

feedback has been provided over the feedback tool, but the email bounced with:

The recipient's mailbox is full and can't accept messages now"

Just tested the feedback tool. Appears to be working fine right now.

Re: 5GHz channel issue, I will report to the testing team. Is anyone else experiencing the same issue?
