Rapture GT-BE19000AI - duplicate hidden SSIDs

While using a wifi analyzer I noticed all bands on my router, 2.4ghz & 5ghz & 6ghz are broadcasting a hidden SSID.  It's the same MAC address minus one character, f1 instead of f0 for example.

How do I disable these unnecessary SSIDs?

Guest networks are off, wired Ethernet backhaul is enabled to disable wireless backhaul, wps and smart connect are all off as well.  I've reset the router and also updated to the newest firmware Version 3.0.0.6.102_40290

These are created with MLO.  If you have MLO on then try temporarily turning it off.  (Although I thought Smart Connect and MLO go together, meaning need Smart Connect to turn on MLO)...

I did not have MLO enabled, but I just turned it on to see what happens.

The result is a MLO SSID is now being broadcasted across all bands, (working as intended ) along with my main SSIDs but the Hidden SSIDs are still there as well.

Just for the heck of it, could you tell us where you are seeing them?  I remember when the BE98 Pros came out, I was seeing a 32 bit SSID, in the Windows settings.  I don't think it is still showing but was for a while.

You also might check this setting.

Well, I may be wrong about that.  I just ran the command indicated and at the top, I see an SSID with no name.  I do use Wireless backhaul.

I was sent one to test and review.  Currently it is an AiMesh node in my setup.  As @Saltgrass notes, there is setting up Ethernet Backhaul, and then there's "Ethernet Backhaul Mode".  Just to verify you have this turned on?  (Should look similar to my EBG15).

Correct, my Ethernet Backhaul Mode (which tells me to ensure everything is plugged in via Ethernet cable) is enabled like how it is in your picture.

May I ask what the other model router(s) you have AiMeshed?  Are there any network switches in the middle?

This is my only router/access point.  I've looked for a disable Mesh setting in the router BIOS but nothing stands out.

Ahh.  You can turn Ethernet Backhaul Mode off as you don't have any ASUS AiMesh nodes anyways.  I'll try to set it up today as Router mode and see.  Did you have to update the firmware, as mine came with the 40290 already installed?
