VPN Fusion on - ASUS GT-AX11000 - Firmware: 3.0.0.4.384_8011 (LASTEST)

Hi guys,

I got VPN Fusion to work on the new firmware without any problems, but what happened was that all my devices connected to the router are using the VPN.

What I had to do was create an exception list to all devices I have and point them to Internet and the only device that I wanted to use the VPN, I’ve pointed to VPN channel. But if I new device connects to the network it will get connected to the VPN instead the internet channel, is it supposed to work this way?

It would be much easier if we could point on the exception list only the devices that we wanted to get connected to the VPN, is there a way to do this ?

Regards,
Sururu

Could it be as easy as you have missed to see the setting for the standard connection VPN or Internet?

If you set internet as standard, you should ony need to set the specific hosts you want to use with VPN as exceptions.

On the other hand, if your standard is VPN, all will use this except the hosts you set as exception with Internet connection.

Indeed, to bad if you set your standard connection to VPN you should have the possibility to exclude your router (so you can also use VPN server). No you cant do that so using VPN fusion (with VPN as standard connection) AND VPN server at the same time wont work. In Merlin firmware you had the options (policy rules) to exclude your router by adding it to the rules. In the ROG firmware you dont have the router in device list to choose from so you cant add it.
So sad that in a flagship router you cant do what you can do in a midrange router (RT-AX68U)
