It seems like I cannot get a fast wireless connection no matter what setting I use. Wired it’s fine and gets close to gigabit speed, but wireless I’m lucky to get 250/50. I’ve tried separating the 5ghz signals and using one just for gaming, disabling/enabling upnp and qos, assigning a static ip, binding to the router ap, adding port forwarding . I’m out of ideas and don’t understand what is throttling the speed. I’ve updated to the most recent firmware and my iPhone 17 from the exact same spot is getting 750/250.

I am not experienced in a PS type device, so I need to ask some questions about its operation.
Does it run Windows you could use to find some info?
Something that makes a difference in reception is where the Antennas are. I assume the PS has antenna pointing different directions. You might try moving it around and letting it set for a few minutes to see if has any effect on the transfer speeds. My iPhone 16 (not same router model) can get all the way to 2 Gbps when close to the primary router.
The router antenna transmits their signal perpendicular to the way the antenna tips are pointing. You might try changing their positions also.
Just in case, are you running Fiber and bypassing one of the ISPs devices?

Hey thanks for the response I’m surprised you haven’t heard of PlayStation but it runs its own os. I will try moving it out of its normal spot to eliminate that being any issue.

Yeah I tried that along with resetting the router itself.
