MESH COMPATIBILITY?

Hey guys I am very new to MESH TECHNOLOGY but I am an old school computer tech just haven’t kept up today lately LOL. I am considering buying the ROG Rapture GT-BE98 PRO WI-FI SEVEN QUAD BAND ROUTER

and I was wondering whether The ASUS Zenwifi BT 10’s Would be a good pairing for them?

I see that The BQ 16’s I’m more expensive but not sure that I need to go that HiGh as my house isn’t exactly huge. I essentially just want to upgrade my computer for gaming without having to get a mortgage to pay for it

It would be helpful to know whether you would be connecting them with Ethernet vs WiFi, as mesh via WiFi uses up bandwidth to create a "wireless backhaul"?

Also maybe how many WiFi devices you have, and whether you have WiFi 7 devices?

The GT-BE98 Pro has very good specifications.  You may try it first and see if you actually need to add other routers to cover dead spots/zones.  That's probably the best thing to do, start with one and build/add as needed.
