GT-BE98 smart connect rules do not save

Doodle
Level 9

I have tried to change the smart connect rules in the router so that the capabilities make sense, in other words changed all to "all" iso the current selection. After saving, the default values return as per the following screenshot

Again a firmware bug or do I do something wrong?

If you feel you need to make changes to the default settings, could you tell us why?

It appears the default settings are based on signal strength, what would you prefer to use?

I tried to change the connect rules so that my phone timely switches from wifi 6 to 6e.

I also found out other people have the same issue on the router elsewhere on the internet. I reported the bug to Asus

OK, I will look regarding such an issue.  As to why it is not holding the new settings, my best guess would be that some setting was not allowed.  Perhaps you could make a small change and see if it would stick.

You can uncheck one or more of the radios in the page prior to the one you show.  Right now, for some reason, neither of my 6 GHz radios are listed in those options.
