So i recently ungraded my 2 GT-AX11000 that i had in wired mesh mode with 2 GT-BE98 Pro, with that said, updated both to the lasted firmware (3.0.0.6.102_34491-ge5d05d6_621-g39ad8_BA08). Never had an issue with the AX11000s showing both online, now with the BE98 pro, after struggling several time and doing about 5 factory reset, i can't get them to both show online, i had them side by side and even connected to their 10gig ports, the main one would show the 10gig port light lit up (using cat6a cables) but on the router page it says not online.
Is this a known issue?

If you look at the system settings page on your attachment, there is a Wired Backhaul option. That is supposed to force the system to use Wired and not go to wireless.
After you have done a reset on the Mesh node, does your system see it. You may have to remove the Node and start over.
I currently run mine with wireless backhaul, but I have had it using wired. Having the system wired is the easiest way for the mesh node to be found, when searched for. The 10 Gbps port was the primary WAN port, but I think the latest update allows both ports to be checked for a connection.
It may take some time for the node to be recognized.

Ok, so after removing the mode, i tried to add it back but when doing the setup it's not seeing it, but in the screenshot above, the main router is seeing in as a connected device, tried several time to add a new node same result, i'll try again tomorrow.
right now it's plugged in directly into the main router, but before i had it plugged into a TL-SX105, not sure why it wouldn't see it it's an unmanaged switch.
I think Asus need to do more testing with switches and mesh working together. The node was working fine before removing it, it's just it wasn't shown...

Ok, after resetting the node, i added it again connected through the 10gig switch and it worked.
Not sure why sometimes it has to be complicated

Glad you got it working. Now you are ready for Windows 11 24H2 and will be able to have the MLO operation for capable devices from both routers.
