Recently purchased a BQ16 Pro (1 pack). While I've seen BE98 Pro as router and BQ16 Pro as node, I decided to swap. (Since my DECO BE95 is router which gets IP Passthrough from AT&T BGW320-500, I use Access Point Mode with AiMesh). See attached screenshot of BE98 Pro SSID issue, (my OnePlus Open just got dropped to Mobile Network as well but auto reconnected to WiFi - I am near the BQ16).
EDIT- MAC addresses are normal but erased manually, somehow some were replaced with cryptic symbols via AiEraser on Android.

It can be hard to compare different interfaces and how they present info. But this one should be fairly clear.
Your system is not completely Smart Connect, so I don't know how that might affect your system.
One thing to verify is, does your MLO SSID show on the Smart Connect page.
You remember I mentioned both of my BE 98 Pros rebooted at the same time, like a glitch. I did not notice it then but a couple of days later, I noticed my non-MLO SSID had been removed from my install, which allowed the MLO SSID to show in Smart Connect. I did not do that.

The non-MLO SSID may be in the Guest Network Pro tab on the left...
I now have Smart Connected 2.4 and 5 GHz. I put 6-1 as not WiFi 7, but 6-2 as WiFi 7, just like I had the BE98 Pro. Hopefully the WiFi starts populating more clients...

It's kind of tedious, AND the SmartConnect page revealed itself only once in the process. I do not know what triggers its display nor what makes it disappear, BUT the evidence of its existence is in the SmartConnect Rule tab that is always there. It also reveals which bands are in fact Smart Connected. (As shown 2.4 and 5 GHz are Smart Connected).

Typically I see approximately 2:1 ratio of clients on the main router/access point : nodes. System is restored to its norm...
Thank you very much for your help @Saltgrass !

I see the SmartConnect page now, it has the super long SSID BUT can't change it. More specifically APPLY doesn't work. (Possibly because I am trying to enter the SSID and password that is applicable/the same). Also all four bands are not smart connected, only 2.5 and 5 GHz as they are the only two bands with rules listed on the SmartConnect Rule tab.

I had something I was thinking about. Do you think the SSID on the Smart Connect page should be tied to the SSID the system is logged into? My system kept the original SSID I used to set the system up until it was changed. There may be a flaw in how that SSID is determined. If smart Connect is showing that long SSID, then you may need to reset and start over.
Does that new router behave similar to the BE98 Pro in options on the user interface?
This is what my Windows shows for SSIDs.

Thanks again for the input.
It's a pretty rudimentary list of available settings, similar to the GT-BE98 Pro when in Access Point Mode. I'm not sure what you mean by depending on which system I'm logged into?
The Smart Connect page is now gone. Replaced by the page I initially mentioned, sadly. BUT the available SSIDs seem to be correct as I have not been able to find the really long SSID being transmitted...
I do have yet another feedback log going, this time with a 64 GB USB stick attached to the BQ16 Pro. I did not realize it couldn't record certain things last time, until it warned me this time and I caught the warning.

Ah, upon further pondering I believe I understand what you mean by system logged into, you mean the same specific client device? No, unfortunately I can be on the same client device and the two different Wireless General pages show, for no repeatable reason/steps I can come up with/try.

Well, I think I came across the crux of my problem, simulated sine wave/non-true sine wave Uninterruptible Power Supply. Just added one I purchased from Sam's Club and surprise even worse Speed Test results!

I used a UPS on my system (APC) and it did not appear to affect my router's performance. If you were using a different model before, do you get faster speeds without it?
I think the notation for MLO compatibility might be on all AiMesh nodes and does actually mean anything except info.
