I have the same issue as described here: GT-BE98 6GHz issues - Republic of Gamers Forum - 1013919 (asus.com) (unfortunately this is closed, however, none of the possible solutions there worked).
In short: All devices will show incorrect password (I did not change the password and the devices were logged in properly just before). In the settings the correct password is displayed.
I tried restarting the router, reflash it with the latest firmware and resetting, but nothing works. The guest networks always works, there is no incorrect password error.
Same issue here: Asus GT-BE98 Forgets Wifi Password (except guest) | SNBForums
And also here: ASUS GT-BE98 forgets WIFI password (700$ router does not work properly) : r/ASUS (reddit.com)
Is there any fix?

Regarding to your other post (that has been deleted??):
The password stops to work every few days, this is very, very annoying.
The activity of the cores in the Network map > system status show only 1-5% each.

It also stops after every restart of the router. I then have to open the Wireless setting, click into the password field, change nothing and click apply, then it will work again for a few days.

I was thinking about your situation and came up with something totally out of left field.
The MLO firmware upgrade added additional security to the WPA security. Is there any possibility something on your system, possibly an anti-virus, that is watching your password usage and limiting how many times you can use the password before it needs to be changed?
Since the router is where the password is being used, it seems improbable an OS component would be involved. There are some security utilities on the router, if you were using those, might be involved.
Keep in mind, certain networks are only WPA3 compatible.

This may be an issue with WiFi 7 implementation, more specifically it enforcing AES+GCMP256. Have you tried disabling WiFi7 Mode?
Under Advanced Settings -> Wireless -> Professional (tab) -> Band (have to be selected individually) - WiFi7 Mode Disable

Thank you. WiFi7 is disabled, I never activated it since I do not yet have WiFi7 devices.

I still have this issue I called ASUS tech support they had me stop using the Smart Connect first. Then I went in and gave each band for the Guest Network and the Iot Network their SSID and passwords as appropriate. It worked for a day showing the correct passwords for each network. Now they show the same one for all networks and it is the wrong password.
I have considered calling back, but it looks like they still haven't solved it.

This for the BE98 Pro, (as well)?

I do not know. I use the BE98 model.

Thank you. In my case the problem occurs with with both, Smart connect enabled or disabled.

Yes that is the Router I have.
