GT BE 98 PRO

I have upgraded to this to of the line router and currently have 1 gig internet. I am using cat 8 6ft cables from mrouter to ps5 pro and 20ft cat8 cable from fiber modem to router. Have modem connected to 10 gig port on router. I am getting 4 mbps speed in my phone and between 5 to 22 mbps upload and download on ps5 pro. Can anyone offer a solution? Had a netgear xr500 before and was working fine before I upgraded. Is there something I have done wrong in the setup?

Welcome to the forum and sorry to read of your concern.   Can you share a couple of things:

What is the firmware version currently installed?  Did you update it?

ISP service company?  Modem model?

If you have changed out your router, you may need to reboot whatever comes from the ISP.  In my non-fiber install, I have a modem.

If you are not using the ISPs "Gateway", you may need to add a destination MAC address in the BE 98 Pro to spoof the ISP.
