Ever since updating my GT-AXE16000 to the latest firmware, it shows that the WAN port of my two RT-AX92U's are connected at 0 Mbps even though at the same time it shows they are connected at 1 Gbps. The issue this is causing is that none of my wifi devices will connect to the mesh using the RT-AX92Us. I was able to manually pin some station wifi devices but my phones and laptops will not move to them because the main router thinks the link speed is slow. Please see the screen shot.
I've already reseated the LAN cable and rebooted all nodes, including the RT-AX92Us multiple time. This was not an issue before the firmware update on the GT-AXE16000.

In the past nodes that were disconnected while on Ethernet Backhaul Mode would completely drop and not come back online, unless hard reset, and re-adding as a node. It seems to be working better for me lately than not though....
I am aware from a user on SNBForums that ASUS is aware of a security flaw and has been actively trying to patch it, across the whole line-up, but functionality issues such as this I am not sure about. IT IS on the EoL list, right under ZenWiFi CT8 on the left column:
https://www.asus.com/event/network/EOL-product/
EDIT- ASUS will still warrant any defective unit still under warranty, (but on the EoL list,) I can vouch for that. They reimbursed me for a faulty Lyra Voice that was EoL but I had just recently purchased. Is it possible they are still under warranty?

If I understand you situation correctly, I believe Ethernet backhaul never shows a speed, you just assume it is whatever Ethernet ports you are using.

I dont think so because the AX11000 nodes are reporting the speed properly.

In your original attachment, you notice the yellow WAN port designation. Below is mine after I set up an AXE 16000 with a wired connection to another BE98 Pro.
Maybe if you could get the WAN port to show green, it would do what you want.
What does the yellow information message show?

It has some useless troubleshooting tips about how I can increase the cable speed. But if you look at my first screen shot, you can see it says "Great" in green for connection speed and that the uplink is 1 Gbps Ethernet but the port status shows 0 Gbps.

OK, you can see mine below and it does show 2.5 Gbps when hovered over. Are you using a good quality cable and visually checked the connectors to make sure no wires have been pushed out of the plug and nothing is bent or broken on the AXE16000 port?

I appreciate your responses, but the issue is not cabling. I have 5 mesh devices, the issue is only seen with the 2 AX-92U's. However, to rule out what you have asked, I used my laptop with wifi disabled, connected to both AX-92U's seperately, and ran a wired speed test from the laptop to my NAS. On both I got near perfect 1Gbps speeds.
The issue is that the firmware on the AXE16000 is incorrectly reporting the port as 0Mbps which is causing the AX-92U's to push wifi traffic to other lower quality nodes. I need someone at Asus to fix this in the firmware.

EDIT- I removed this firmware update post and placed it in a separate thread for more exposure.
I highly suggest going to -> System Settings -> (toggle ON) Ethernet Backhaul Mode. Without that the RT-AX92U is probably reserving bandwidth for AiMesh self healing, (even though it is tri-band it is worth a shot).
Sadly it is one of the very few AX models to reach the End of Life list, and is a good candidate for replacement IMHO...

Ethernet backhaul has been enabled since day 1, not sure why you would assume that it's not on. I'm not sure what sense my original post would even make if I was using wifi backhaul.
I'm not sure why you say the AX92U is end of life, it got a firmware update two days ago?
Things I have done:
- Updated all 5 nodes to latest firmware (all released days ago)
- Rebooted all nodes after the firmware update reboot.
- Check cabling, verified thru speedtest over LAN that cabling is operating at 1Gbps
- Bound stationary wifi clients to the proper router.
Unfortunately, this means my mobile wifi devices (phones) get pushed to the non AX-92U nodes which is not ideal.

I suppose all I can do is verify your situation. You might verify the AXE16000 firmware version, I have already verified the latest 92U firmware.
