GT-AX11000 topping out at 600-700 Mbps when connected to modem achieving 1.9 Gbps

Hello,

Need help in resolving this issue.

Have GT-AX11000 connected to gigabit modem which the gateway achieves D/L speed of 1.9 Gbps.

When I run the Internet speed test under the game acceleration tab it shows only between 600-700 Mbps.  I have tried changing the patch cord to a new cat 6, under 8 ft.  I have it connected to the 2.5 gbps  port on the router.

Been researching this issue and cant find a solution.

Your service speed is 2 Gbps?  Which model gateway are you using?

Ignite WiFi Gateway (Gen 3) modem (XB8)

Sorry for the delay.  The gateway has a single 2.5 Gbps port which does not help.  (The rest are 1 Gbps ports).  Speed should be vcloser to 9xx Mbps download though.  There's a bridge mode or you may try putting the AX11000 into Access Point mode:

Hopefully that gets speeds up closer to 9xx Mbps...

I was wondering if you had checked the Link Speed in Windows.  That number can change so check it at different times.

With the AX11000 connected to the Gateway, you are saying you see a Gateway DL speed of 1.9 Gbps.  Exactly where do you see that?  Another way of asking this is, the speed test is the only thing that indicates a slow speed?

You have an extra symbol on the top right of your attachment, what do the two heads portray?  Possibly this is because of using the AX11000.
