GT-AX11000 Firmware 3.0.0.4.388_22237-g9120e16

The router management page offers me this new firmware 3.0.0.4.388_22237-g9120e16 as upgrade.
I do not see any info on the ASUS web-site about it - only that it is offered for the GT-AXE16000?!

Did anyone already try it or does know anything about it?

Thanks

PS: Just found it listed for the AX11000 Pro model - Looks like something is crossed here

answer from asus regarding aimesh nodes on ax11000 Firmware 3.0.0.4.388_22237

The FV 388 generation unfortunately contains a Mesh network bug and Asus is aware of this. We are currently working on firmware fixes for our devices to eliminate the problem you described. As a GT-AX11k user myself, I am looking forward to the fixes.
Unfortunately, due to the Chinese New Year, work on the fixes may be extended

Thanks for this info. We'll wait than...

New firmware is available people! I have just updated my main router, and 1 AImesh. Will do the other mesh if all is stable.

Has anyone been having a problem with ver-3.0.0.4.388_22238? I upgraded to that version and have nothing but problems. I have a Mesh system and I have good connection with the nodes to the router, but nothing will connect to the nodes. I have downgraded to 3.0.0.4.386_4967 and everything works great. I have auto update turned off, but it keeps upgrading to 3.0.0.4.388_22238 than everything stops working again. I have done hard resets multiple times and re-added the nodes after a hard reset on them but nothing works. It's impossible to work on the system with firmware ver-3.0.0.4.388_22238 installed. Does anyone know I can get my router to stop upgrading to firmware ver-3.0.0.40388_222387 with auto update turned off?

The ASUS website does seem to show a .386 version. Since it has jumped to .388 maybe that have not corrected that page yet?

Edit: I just update my firmware and now both the AXE16000 and Mesh Node AX11000 are showing the same version, .388_22237.

Now the GT-AX11000 BIOS and Firmware page lists the 3.0.0.4.388_22237 version properly for download.

Tried to see if they started to use the higher control/channels of 5.9GHz UNI II-4 but not yet it seems.
Highest controlchannel is still 140.

This is a good article to understand that new firmware of AX routers may bring more channels and behold will be able to work in a non-DFS range for 160MHz, that is EPIC!

New non-DFS range for 160MHz channel on AX routers!
https://dongknows.com/5-9ghz-wi-fi-6-explained-how-unii-4-can-be-exciting/

The list: Current Wi-Fi 6 solutions that support UNII-4

Asus GT-AX11000 Pro (Tri-band)
Asus ZenWiFi Pro XT12 (Tri-band)
Asus ZenWifi XT9 (Tri-band)
Asus ZenWiFi XT8 (Tri-band)
Synology RT6600ax (Tri-band)
Synology WRX560 (Dual-band)

Nothing specific about the update in question because I can’t get it to update remotely, but the updates tend to show up on the router update availability check before they are posted on the ASUS web pages. *This is normal from my experience…

UNI II-4 support seems hardware dependent? *So that not all AX routers will support it? *(I noticed no AXE routers are on the list)…*

I updated this today, my web admin interface is extremely slow, often timing out since the update. The Mobile app times out as well. I have noticed the timeout mostly occurs on the dashboard page, network map or any interface with an graph/metrics on it. Things like Administration, System log all seem to load ok. However the admin interface is largely unusable.

I have downgraded back to 3.0.0.4.386.49599 and the admin interface is back and running normally. I recommend skipping the 3.0.0.4.388.22237 update.

Do you use http://www.asusrouter.com/Main_Login.asp or 192.168.xxx.xxx ?

This for me is the most stable release to date in terms of disconnections, don't use mesh/nodes as yet.
No problems with the app ( except maybe a schedule deletion thing?trying to debug that..... ) or the web interface.
Currently putting the new scheduling option through its paces.........
