does anyone have issues with the UI coming up.
Mine seems to be hung when i log in

login page comes up but nothing after that

This is only a security hole patch (Not a feature update). There should be no issues (loosely said). At least I don't have any issues.

you are right about the CVE patches.

When i upgraded, i got a very weird behavior. first was the UI not responding. then i discovered that the hardwire connections seemed to be in a defunct state. not getting IP's

i did a reset and restored to the previous software version along with a restore of the previous config.

Thankfully back to normal.

Did you try pressing the reset button before downgrading? BTW, I upgraded from the Beta version. Maybe this is why I have no issues.

The dashboard doesn't show up in Chrome or Edge for Chromium using http nor https. All works in Firefox.

Clear the cache and make sure you choose "All Time". For Edge, make sure you are on Version 91.0.864.67 (Official build) (64-bit).

Doesn't solve it, only works on Firefox. Tried with the latest official Edge release in Private Mode with cleared caches.

I wonder if these expensive routers with all of their features and functions are built with not enough CPU power and not enough RAM to handle the recourses they require.
