GS-BE18000 constant disconnection

Re new GS-BE18000, I have updated to firmware 300610238818 in the hope my problem is resolved, but no.

Problem: The router is disconnecting from the internet/ my provider at least once a week from new. (wifi stays connected to all devices) Though its no big deal to pull the power cord and plug it back in for a re-boot this is becomming an issue for the household when i'm not at home to do it. (Due to location)

Anyone else having issues / solution / ideas.

PS: sorry in advance but im no guru when it comes to comms / protocols etc, so any and all help welcome. Thanks in advance

Do you have any info that might help see what is happening?  Such as, is there a specific time involved when this occurs, like every Friday at 6 pm?  Also check how long the system has been online to see if that amount of time might be relevant.

If you decide to check your router logs, you need to keep track of the exact time these situations occur.

If the router has an option to select a WAN port, do you have it set to automatic or is your current WAN port selected?

Some info regarding your setup might help, such as ISP and type of connection, like Fiber and are you using all the devices the ISP normally provides?

My first suspicion was that the ISP service is dropping and causing the issue, but typically this causes all devices on the LAN side to lose connection, (both Ethernet drop and WiFi drop).

Did you do a factory reset after updating to 3.0.0.6.102_38818?  (If not then this is my suggestion to try first).

Hi, and yes I factory reset the router, I will just have to learn how to access the logs and I'll post when i find the time (shift worker and all)
