ASUS RT-AC66U B1 ( AC1750 ) Firmware Version: 3.0.0.4.386_51665
Since May of this year when another Signature Firmware caused repeated Router re-boots (since corrected), I've been monitoring the System Logs on my Asus RT-AC66U B1 ( AC1750 ) router on a daily basis.
Yesterday, 2023/10/17, I noticed the entire System Log filled with the same repeating errors, all starting with error: "kernel: dcd/22609: potentially unexpected fatal signal 6." The only difference between the errors is the dcd number.
I checked the Administration menu, Firmware Upgrade tab, and found that the Firmware Signature Version had been updated to "2.376 2023/10/17 09:04" which was a couple of hours before I checked the logs.
After seeing that, I unplugged the Router for a few minutes and plugged it in again and let it boot up.
The errors went away for about an hour then came back. Subsequent (4) power off/on resulted in the same situation.
The errors do not seem to be affecting the router's performance, but the problem needs to be addressed by Asus. Attached are logs from yesterday, and this morning after the last power off/on.

I should have asked this on my original post:
Is anyone else seeing these errors in their router's system logs after signature firmware 2.376 gets applied?

Yes, quite similar symptoms on my RT-AC68U (also many times a second), very suspiciously also began on 10/17/2023
began on 10/17/2023

I tried to update on the 18th and during the process it appeared to freeze. (AXE16000: I let it sit for up to 20 - 30 mins). Reloading the page it would note updated 2023/10/18 but version stayed 2.372. Yesterday the 19th when checking for an update the result was up to date with version 2.372….

Is there some way of alerting one of the forum's admins about this problem? At least that way the user's will know ASUS is aware of the problem.
