Enabling 160MHz BW on 5G-2 on GT-AX1100 only gets 80MHz enabled in Wireless Log.

Enabling 160MHz BW on 5G-2 on GT-AX11000 only gets 80MHz enabled according to the Wireless Log. Firmware Version:3.0.0.4.384_6436

It doesnt matter if you disable the 5G-1 radio in the Professional tab, the 5G-2 never gets 160MHz up according to Wireless log under any circumstance.

5G-1 has no problem enabling 160MHz bandwidth!

Coincidence or not, I noticed the same behavior on the RT-AX92U. 5G-2 could not get 160MHz up according to Wireless log even though it clearly has that option set.

But, I don't believe in coincidences....

So clearly Asus has some work to do on their GT-AX11000 and RT-AX92U to fix true 160MHz setting on the 5G-2 band...

how you flags manually in NVRAM?

i have the same problem .... on 5g-1 on ax11000 160mhz works great but on ax92u i cant get 160mhz. i dont need 160mhz on 5g-2 if i manage to get on 5g-1 160mhz on ax11000 and ax92u its fine.

The only way I could actually get the 160 was to select only the 160 Mhz in the channel bandwidth (not 20/40/80/160) turn on the 160 check box and force the control channel to 124. I have never been able to get both 5Ghz bands to use 160Mhz at the same time. If I turn on the 5G1 band then the 5G2 band will not select 160 Mhz even if I try to force it.

For those who still look for the fix, you can go to Wireless -> Professional. Then at the very bottom change the region to US. You should now have the 160MHz enable option for 5Ghz-2. From Channel BW Dropbox, just select 160MHz instead of Auto between. Hope it helps!

Hi,

I do not have this region selection choice in my AX-11000 3.0.0.4.386_49599.
