I have 800 fiber internet and, until recently, was getting 800+ Mbs download all all the laptops and two desktops in my house. However, now I cannot seem to get any speed over 200Mbs on my desktop, but all the other computers in the house get 800+ Mbs download when hardwired to the router. I have the latest firmware on the router, and have tried every sort of cable hookup that I can, all using CAT8 cable. I had a 2.5gb port on my computer and was using that, but recently upgraded to a 10Gb LAN PCI card, but the speed has stayed in the 170-180 GB range no matter what I do. Any ideas on how to resolve this?

The crazy thing is, is that the desktop Speedtest app shows no more than 170-180 Gbs download speed; however, when I go online to the Speedtest web app, it shows 780+ Gbs download. The Windows network things shows 10/10, though, so I'll roll with that I guess.

GB does not equal Gb correct? Byte contains 8 bits so 100 GB = 800 Gb.
Please verify your use of GB, Gb, and Mb...
