Apparently, in order to be used with a web server, the router needs to support "hairpin NAT".
Lacking that feature, it will be impossible to browse the server's web pages from within the network.
I currently have a Linksys WRT3200ACM, which works properly with web server behind it, and also it's NAS feature is fully accessible to other PCs on the LAN. However, it reboots several times a day now and needs to be replaced with something more capable of handling gig fiber internet.
Hairpin NAT apparently is built into the Linksys routers, but what about the Asus router?

This says WiFi 6 or higher router, which should include the RT-BE88U:

So the RT-BE88U is not on that list, so I would assume it does NOT support NAT loopback then?
Are there any other models that have 8 LAN ports and at least 5gb WAN port that do?
