DHCP Not consistent on all devices

Hello All,

I am chasing an issue that is confusing.

I have an AX6000 WiFi 6 Router. I have built out the DHCP Table to address my network devices (10.0.0.0 Network) and it is generally working in hardwired and Wireless devices. However, I have one odd issue I see no settings for.

The DHCP server is only assigning the 10.x.x.x numbers as it should on the Wired LAN and the Primary WIreless Network. However, it is NOT assigning them as it should on the Guest Wireless Network. That network is falling to the 192.168.x.x network. The subnet is the same 255.255.255.0.

I am not sure why the settings aren't applying to both wireless networks.

Any ideas?

TIA,

Mark

On my router, when setting up a Guest network, there are two settings which might affect this.  The Access Intranet and Use same subnet as main network are defaulted to off.

Guest/IoT networks typically are created with a VLAN if Intranet Access is not allowed/unchecked.  It also will not assign the same subnet IPs as you noticed if same subnet is unchecked.
