Good Morning,

I am having issues with my new BE98 Pro, It is having issues with connecting to my provider on the 10 GB WAN and 2.5 GB WAN ports. I am seeing this is a common issue have had the router less then 30 days should i return it or keep it? Other issues going on reboots cause the network not to connect and right now my whole network is down had to go out the front door and not my garage this morning. Been six years since i went out the front door. DCHP error message pops up has issues connecting etc.

You're right...I normally wait a few months before buying new Asus devices (routers etc...) so I hope I don't have to wait another 3 months before the next fw update. I really think with wifi7 & MLO plus other hardware parts and being so new that they ran into some issues but I think they're mostly resolve now. I'm hoping a few more weeks (maybe sooner) the Pro will get a new firmware! For my simple setup the current firmware is running ok with some minor issues. But I do want the reported fixes made on the 98 nonpro version come this way !

I might try the beta fw to see of any fixes...might be a bug but I keep seeing a "firmware upgrade" available under Firmware Upgrade Page.

@KingP1n If you have Mesh Nodes, it may be showing an update for that.  If you have the accept a Beta version checked, it may be reinstalling an older version of that, on top of a newer firmware version.

No beta or new firmware. I checked both the firmware page and the main web site.

Asus no longer has any credibility for me! Selling a router full of bugs that is only a beta version for $1000 is unacceptable!!! For me, Asus products are over!! I won't get poked twice with their crappy product! A product full of bugs without updating since launch is unacceptable! Even Microsoft doesn't take this long to release patches on their products!! Asus = Piece of ******t!!

Any word on the new firmware release yet from ASUS? This is crazy that the  high end router is ignored by ASUS for almost 5 months now
