Be98 Pro If you are seeing the upgrade to 37038, you may want to hold off.

I am seeing some instability problems which may involve a Mesh router, which the update was supposed to make more reliable.

If I connect my AppleTV  4K with ethernet to the second BE98 Pro, my streaming is just about unwatchable.  If I bypass the Mesh router and go wirelessly straight to the primary BE98 Pro, the problems clear up.

I will keep testing but might, in the next few days, rollback to the previous firmware.

I worked with this upgrade for two days and never got the problems solved.  I have now rolled back the upgrade, so if you want to try, you can roll back.

Edit:  After rolling back the firmware upgrade, my streaming went back to normal, but I did some more research and found my mesh node had a very low Wi-Fi signal strength, almost down to the disconnect point.  I moved the unit outside of a cabinet and gained 15 dBm (up to -45 to -55 dBm) of signal strength and now the streaming is working again with the update installed.

I'm running it with Ethernet Backhaul and for the most part it seems to be working alright, (AP Mode with AiMesh)...

I wonder if that could have been the root of your other issues you have posted about. I am also running it (BE98 Pro main, and two BQ16 Pros nodes) with ethernet backhaul, no MLO, and it's running fine.

@Cryptoban I will keep an eye on it although I don't remember anything else that would be affected by the low signal strength.  The Mesh node was only about 10 feet from the primary node, but that cabinet was having more of an affect the I would have thought.

Just a thought, there are a lot of Ethernet ports on the BE98 Pro, did you try the various speeds and they all were poor?

@jzchen  I can't use Ethernet backhaul due to wiring situation.

I meant your Apple TV.  You mentioned you connected it to an Ethernet port on your node, but you didn't specify which speed.  (I personally try to match as closely say if the Apple TV has a 2.5 Gbps Ethernet then I'd connect it to a 2.5 Gbps port on the router).

The AppleTV 4K shows with Gigabit Ethernet.  I watch it quite a bit in the Traffic analyzer and never see it pulse much over 400 Mbps at some point.   Most of the time, pulses are more likely under 80 Mbps.  I might try the 10 GE LAN6 port, but I doubt it will make any difference.  I am not sure what the notation on that port means regarding prioritizing packets, maybe a QoS situation?

This may not be accurate, but since I increased the signal to the Mesh node, it seems some of my streaming content has increased its audio and video quality.

You may consider the 1 Gbps port (LAN 5 it appears).  Just so happens I have two lowly Fast Ethernet printers (100 Mbps) so I have one connected to LAN 5 and the other a 2.5 Gbps port.
