Hi all,

I have a big problem with my new AX16000 router. My main router is a AX11000. The new router is connected as a mesh node (access point mode).
My problem is now that I can only see 2,4 Ghz, 5 Ghz-1 and 5Ghz-2 (no 6G). Where can I activate this?
But under AI Mesh -> Network I can see Wireless 6 GHz.
FYI: I am a new in this topic 🙂

Can someone help me please.
Thank you.

What I like to add:

my iPhone 15 PM can see (only when I am in the near of the AXE16000) the 6G, but without a wifi password. Because I cannot see 6G as a SSID I cannot set a wifi password.

It's best to set up the GT-AXE16000 as primary router, hard reset the GT-AX11000.  Then add the GT-AX11000 as an AiMesh node.  Please see this guide and if you have any questions or concerns feel free to ask:

Thank you, I will try this.
Are there any compatibility problems with AX and AXE?

AXE is an extension of AX.  (Just added 6 GHz spectrum).  Also you made a wise decision as both have 2 5 GHz channels.  This means they can take advantage of wireless backhaul and still allow full speed on the separate 5 GHz channel.

EDIT-  No compatibility issues as they are both WiFi 6.  Sometimes 6 GHz is finicky, depending on device/client may need to adjust a couple of settings.

Thank you very much @jzchen
