GT-AXE11000 has new firmware 18.104.22.168.388_22525. For some reason it appears to knock out 6 GHz and 5 GHz channels completely, even after a hard reset, (at least as a node).

Did the new beta firmware break anything as far as you can tell? I am interested in it, just don't want to go backwards or otherwise brick anything on my AXE16000

I am not aware of anything broken/not working. For me I have a Rheem (IoT) water heater not able to connect so I tried creating an IoT specific network. No success so far. (There are significant number of settings to tinker with, but I am not confident I can get it to connect).
