AXE16000 Internet Disconnected

Dear friends,

I just bought ASUS ROG RAPTURE GT AXE16000 & tried to install it. Unfortunately, after install everything, the router shown INTERNET DISCONNECTED. Please refer to photo attached.

My internet line & modem no problem because when I switch to old router everything find.

Appreciate friends here assistance to guide & share with me in term of how to install the router correctly and what are the setup shall be. I am using PPOE connection type.

First thing to try is to release the DHCP lease on the old router.  ISPs tend to allow only one and recognize the different MAC address of your AXE16000.  If the lease is not released, they may not allow a 2nd PPOE connection.

Second thing to try if the ISP only wants you to use their equipment, is to clone the prior router MAC address.
