I have been "working" with support on this for a couple of weeks now, but so far no resolution. Contact support so they can see there is a real issue.

I just received this router, updated it and am having dropped Nest indoor Cameras also.

I followed this article for legacy devices. My previous ROG AC53000 also had issues with certain 2.4ghz devices and they had a legacy mode settings...
*Disable [802.11ax / WiFi 6 mode]
Disable Wi-Fi Agile Multiband
*Disable [Target Wake Time]
*Disable Protected Management Frames
* ***Also placed 2.4ghz into Legacy Mode. I am no longer having the drop issue issue. Granted features are disabled.
These devices have been on the market for 7+ years. The NEW $550 router is 100% having compatibility issues with its AXE mode and legacy devices on the 2.4ghz.
It is also very common for Asus to put out buggy firmware and have routing table issue. My Gt-AC5300 has had improvement then backpedal on firmware features and function since it was launched.

So I did something that seemed to make a huge improvement. It's not 100%. Change the dhcp lease time to something lower. I went down to 120 lease and the cameras seem to stay connected more. I will try raising it by an hour to see when things really become unstable. I don't know if static leases will make a difference or not.

Hi there,
might try this.
from google official QA, there are two items might need to be disabled on AP.
1. Disable beamforming, so on axe11000, will need to disable universal beamforming and 802.11ax/ac beamforming from http://router.asus.com/Advanced_WAdvanced_Content.asp do remember to disable all 3 bands.
2. Disable QoS http://router.asus.com/AdaptiveQoS_Bandwidth_Monitor.asp
give it a try.

I thought I mentioned support, but I am working with the engineers. Every single user setting has been tried. The cameras are just not responding to the beacons. Yes I am putting the issue on Asus as these cameras work with every other router except there are also reports of issues with the Netgear RAXE500. Coincident? Obvious it is something these two routers do differently. With that being said Nest has been made aware but if they are looking into it or not I have no clue as I have no responses from them and they were informed the same time I informed ASUS. So the firmware they have me on is 9.0.0.4_386_43171 which I got today which was just an incorporation of a fix where the Samsung S21 Ultra will connect but will have no internet access. And still with this firmware it did not fix the issue. My though on that is how was the router tested before release if it doesn't even work correctly with the one and only wifi 6e device that is out that is supposedly fully compatible? Yes I know the AX210 is out but it is not fully supported by Windows 10 yet.
