Asus Router and VR

Hello,
I am a French Asus user, I will use a translator hoping to be understandable.
I use an Asus RT-AXE7800 router in wifi 6E with the Meta Quest 3 in PCVR 2 meters from the router. I play Breachers VR daily and participate in championships daily and that's why I am interested in the multiple choices offered by Asus. So if you have any advice to survive in this jungle of choices I am listening 🙂

You may want to describe your environment.  Are you the only one using this network or do you have kids doing whatever?

The PC is connected to the Asus router by cables, the router is connected to the internet box by cables. The router is enabled to broadcast only the 6E and it is dedicated to the Quest 3

What type of Internet service/speed do you have?  Do you have problems with the Quest 3 performance?

Hello JZchen,

I use a 400 Mbit/s fiber offer, and I think that the Quest 3 has good performance, moreover the whole thing gives me satisfaction in this configuration, which is why I share and ask other Asus / PCVR users here for their points of view / help / advice.

Hi, no I haven't used Meta Airlink for a long time.

I found that when QoS was accidentally turned on that LAN speed test was cut from maximum.  Our Internet is 1 Gbps fiber, but with QoS it would cut from 94x to 8xx, on Ethernet.  You might want to try to disable QoS and see how that works.

yes I will try to disable QOS I will make screen shots, only I still find it a shame to disable QOS, it is probably more enriching to learn how to use it correctly
