Asus ROG AXE-16000 and guest network pro

Hello

my setup include the axe16000 as main router and the AX-11000 as the mesh connected via 2.5 gig port hard wired.

can someone confirm these routers will be getting the new guest network pro?  I feel like Asus does not like to support older models and might just need to switch to ubiquiti or something else

I believe there is an old 9.0.0.6. firmware that provides Guest Network Pro but it seems ASUS changed their mind about developing it...

Yeah I saw this and installed this firmware however I believe it is beta.  Is my router not up to date to have the stable version?  I’m surprised they are selecting which routers to receive new features .  The axe16000 is not that old and has decent hardware specs .  Wish Asus would be transparent…. Not sure if I can stay with Asus if they are going to only update the newest products 

my mesh router hasn’t received any update in over a year, seems very strange

I'm afraid it hasn't received an updated firmware in a long time.  (I am still using mine as an AiMesh node).  It isn't just your specific unit, but the whole batch of AXE16000s it seems.
