Hi everyone.
Got an used ASUS GT-BE98 Pro from one of my friend came back from USA. It is not available in my country.
I have configured it properly albeit 6GHz not available as per regulation.
Updated the firmware to v3.0.0.6.102_34491 , everything are working properly , but if I enable the MLO button within MLO tab the router stuck.
Just merely enabling the MLO button is causing this. Not even adding any MLO profile or anything , just enabling button cause router to stuck , sometimes all wifi LED off , sometimes stop blinking , SSID advertising also stop and router fully disconnect from every wifi client.
Again after hard re-booting it works for 5-10 mins , then same issue.
Checked after factory reset 3 times , the issue persist.
But if I disable the MLO , the router is rock stable with Smartconnect enabled
Any help would be appreciated.

If you know the exact time you try to enable MLO, perhaps checking the log would give some indication.
Not all countries include the entire frequency range for Wi-Fi 6e. Most start and 5.925 GHz but others start at 5.945 GHz. Since you appear to have normal 6 GHz operation, possibly MLO may be sensitive to such a thing.

after about 48hrs of testing I found below scenario
1> smartconnect enabled with one SSID or smartconnect disabled with 4 different SSID , wifi transmit power set to power saving mode , all working. Actually in this scenario we can set any wifi transmit power.
2> smartconnect + MLO enabled with one MLO profile added and activated , wifi transmit power must be set to at least fair or higher , if I set transmit power to power saving mode within 3min all wifi getting disabled and wifi icon in router login page greyed out.
Wifi transmit power can be set from wifi professional tab.
Any one else check this setting ?

I would the power setting would depend on your exact setup. If you are moving from room to room and expect the MLO to pick up a radio in the next room, it may be so limited it can't hold on to the additional radios.
I will try running mine on Balanced for a while, but I do not have a phone or laptop.
You may also want to play with the disconnect signal level to see if it might help or hurt.

I just turned on Power Saving. At first, the signal strength dropped to 0ne bar then the router rebooted to make the change.
Right now is it showing normal power levels and will probably stay that way unless I leave the Wi-Fi unused for a period of time.
If there is something you want me to check, let me know.
