Hi Friends,
We must configure a LAN interface for upstream traffic and a WIFI interface for downstream client traffic on my Asus Router GT-BE98 for performance testing (Close Loop). using the same IP network.
The connected client is usually 192.168.50.x with basic 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, or 6 GHz, and the LAN interface IP is usually 192.168.50.x.
However, the connected client got IP 192.168.52.x when the MLO network was enabled, meaning that the IP network and LAN interface are not the same.
Is it possible to set up an MLO network using the same LAN IP network? For example, MLO Client 192.168.50.10, LAN 192.168.50.5
When I tried to change the MLO IP from 192.168.52.x to 192.168.50.x, I got an IP/Routing conflict error.

It seem like that. It was created as a guest network.

Guest Network by design separates the two intentionally. You need to create another Main network SSID under the same subnet. If you need 192.168.50 and 192.168.52 for whatever reason you should change the subnet mask to 255.255.252.0. Then you can manually assign those ranges. I hope you can make it work....

I am testing a throughput test in close loop with our system (LAN for Upstream and WIFI is Downstream) but right now we cannnot generate a traffic from LAN >>> WIFI client (DownStream) becuase of difference IP. traffic generator side got IP from LAN interface 192.168.50.x but client got 192.168.52.x. (MLO configuration)

I was asking for what numbers you were looking for. I may have such numbers.
I do agree with @jzchen that the network you show is a VLAN situation.

You likely need to create the MLO "Main" network, not Guest Network/IoT...
