AiMesh showing Zero PHY Rate but signal great??

I have a primary AX82U router and 2 TUF-AX3000 V2 Mesh nodes. Due to the setup they all connect using wireless backhaul 5GHz. Node 1 connects to the 82u with a great signal and speed at 2400Mbps up and down. Node 2 connects to node 1 for upstairs as the nodes are closer together. Since I set this up both nodes always showed the PHY rate so I know what kind of speeds they were getting. But last week after rebooting node 2 upstairs it will no longer show any PHY rate at all. just says Great signal and empty values. Unless its connected to the main 82u. Then it will show PHY rate numbers. It never used to be like this. Tried reboots, resets, reconnects nothing will show PHY rates when connected to the other node... Any ideas? or any commands I can use to check the PHY rate of node 2 to verify it is indeed a good speed connection. Via SSH etc???

This is all the backhaul rates the fronthaul rates show fine.

You've removed both nodes from the AiMesh and re-added them?  Unfortunately maybe there's a bug in the RT-AX82U firmware and it also needs a hard reset...

I have no idea what PHY referrers to.

Wi-Fi transmits in a direction 90 degrees to the way the antenna tips are pointing.  So maybe you need to adjust that.

If you can clarify your comments, please advise.

PHY is the maximum throughput of a WiFi link (usually listed individually for upload and download).  It does not factor in such things as overhead...

You should be able to find it under General -> AiMesh -> (select a node router) -> Network (tab, towards the right) - (scroll down)

I just set up an AXE16000 as a mesh node connected to the other Mesh node and it does display PHY numbers.

Possibly your rates are low, so it just shows a message.  Perhaps try moving it or changing the antenna configuration.

@jzchen Thanks, I normally look at just the signal strength.  Currently the extra node shows Great with an RSSI of -51.
